Libya
Must have a Minimum of 05 Years experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on all types of rotating equipment available on an offshore platform.
This is a permanent position although kindly note that the Rotation is 28/28 - but you will be paid monthly even when you are On Break/Off.
Main functions and responsibilities of Mechanical Supervisor are:
·To coordinate logistics, mechanical maintenance and repairs of equipment located in the operational areas to assure the normal operation, while following the established company guidelines and/or instructions from the immediate supervisor.
·To carry out daily inspections following the programmed preventive maintenance plan to assure the normal operation of the equipment.
·To coordinate the acquisition of material needed for the maintenance routines.
·To supervise and coordinate personnel and logistics during maintenance and repair work and to assure quality and efficiency.
·To detect, prevent and correct any failure or emergency that may interrupt the normal operations of the mechanical equipment.
·To assure compliance of the Quality Management System.
Knowledge
·Basic knowledge of security processes management.
·Basic knowledge of health, safety and environment norms.
·Basic knowledge of Norm ISO 9001:2000.Intermediate knowledge of operational maintenance.
·Basic knowledge of maintenance planning.
·Basic knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
·Intermediate knowledge of personnel management
·Intermediate knowledge of teamwork management
·Basic knowledge of the English language.
·Basic knowledge of equipment failure analysis.
·Basic knowledge of control valve maintenance.
·Advanced knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance and alignment.
·Intermediate knowledge of assembly and welding.
·Advanced knowledge of static equipment maintenance.
·Intermediate knowledge of finishing and painting of metallic surfaces.
·Advanced knowledge of lubrication.
